This event is for everyone who is interested in gaining information on different types of careers and job fields.

There will be more than 45 employers there to network with. There will be internship information.

Current Cerritos College student Martha Camacho said, “I think it’s great that Cerritos has a job fair that is open to the public, it gives everyone an opportunity to be informed on job fields they are interested in. I always remind my friends to attend to for them to learn a few things from different employers.”

Some of the few employers who will be attending are; Sears, Downey City, FedEx, Los Angeles Police Department and many more.

Concerns for the hydration stations

Plans have been approved by ASCC senate to install five hydration stations on Cerritos College.

The hydration stations have a budget of $20,000 there has not been any specific break down on the reason for the budget being expensive.

Although, having hydration stations on campus for students to be able to access filtered water at all times is a great plan. There should be a full thought out plan on the break down of the cost for the stations– the installment, installment cost, the cost of each station, the yearly upkeep cost of the stations, the maintenance budget and etc.

Students are in favor of the hydration stations, it’s the budget and lack of information provided on the cost that is concerning.
